I don’t see the flavor I want on your menu.  Can I order another flavor?

Of course you can!!  Tastee Creations can customize any cake flavor to make it just what you desire (within reason-no chocolate, bacon and banana cakes please).   Just ask.

How much notice do you need for cake orders? Wedding cakes?

We ask for at least a 72 hour notice.  Some orders can be fulfilled within 24 hours—for a nominal rush fee.  For wedding cakes, it’s best to order early as possible if your wedding is during popular wedding season. Most brides order their cake within 3-6 months of their date.

What is a groom’s cake?  Who orders it? When is it served?

View our Groom’s Cake page for more information.

Your full business name is Tastee Creations and Catering.  Does that mean you cater too?

Yes.  We offer meal and light/heavy hors d’ouerves options for small parties. Call us for details.

Do you do rolled fondant cakes?

Yes.  We can do rolled fondant cakes, however we recommend buttercream for the best taste and without sacrificing the smooth “look” of rolled fondant. Our goal is for your cake to look good and taste good. So here’s our secret:  We smooth our buttercream so much that it’s often times mistaken for rolled fondant!

Do you ship?

Yes.  We ship our ”non wedding” cakes within the continental US via UPS.  A typical delivery takes 1-3 days (depending on where you are).  Call us for details.

Do you offer samples of your products?

Since our cakes made from scratch and made to order, it’s rare that we’ll have samples on hand.  However, here are a couple of secrets to scoring a delicious sample of our product: For one, periodically check our “Events” page.  If we’re doing a bridal show or expo in your area, we’ll be certain to have samples on hand. Secondly, ask your neighbor.  We receive most of our business through word of mouth referrals so 9 times out of 10, your neighbor just may have a Tastee Creations pink box on hand.  And lastly, for large orders (over $100) we will be glad to schedule a tasting and design consultation.

Do you offer gluten free, sugar free, and/or lactose free products?

Yes.  Those options have an added cost. Call for details.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App.

Are your tasting and design cake consultations free?

No.  Our cake consultation and design session will consist of a tasting of our most popular flavors and a planning/designing period to create a custom designed wedding cake for your special day.  There is a $25 consultation fee.  However, this fee will be deducted from the price of your cake should you book with us.

What should I bring to the consultation?

In addition to the consultation fee ($25), the main thing you need to bring is your taste buds.  However, if you have a picture of your dream cake, please bring that with you. If you don’t have a vision of the cake you want, don’t worry.  You can look through pictures of our work to find one you like or we can create a unique work exclusively for your special day.
